In 1870, the Bolsius brothers laid the foundation of the present company, by manufacturing beeswax into candles using traditional methods. Nowadays, all Bolsius candles are made to the highest quality, produced from the purest raw materials, all burn in an optimal way with minimal sooting and smoking.
